Lets Deal with Tithes First:
Malachi 3:8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed Me. But ye say, wherein have we robbed thee? In Tithes and Offerings. 9. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed Me, even this whole nation. 10. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove Me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. 11. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes,” 12. And all nations shall call you blessed: ”
WOW! The Covenant here is better than any insurance policy! I personally called it the Greatest Insurance Policy one could ever have and backed by God Himself.
But notice the phrase God uses will a man rob God? Man who is a weak creature, that cannot make it to his next heartbeat 💓, or next breath without God.
Robbery a heinous and high crime. God shows a seriousness here in not paying Tithes. But the question is why would one want to rob God in light of the Blessings that are promised by God in verses 10, 11, & 12? As we understand that God cannot lie and will keep His promises. A lack of Faith and Trust in God causes this.
TITHES is 10% of our earnings. We should always put GOD First. We find Abel in Genesis 4:4 Giving the Firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. We see a significant difference here in Abel and Cain’s Offerings. As God had respect unto Abel and his offering, but not for Cain. Hebrews 11:4 It is expressly said Abel was a more excellent sacrifice than Cain. We should always give GOD our best, and put Him first.
We find Abraham giving TITHES to Melchizedek King of Salem. Genesis 14 implies what Hebrews 7:2 makes explicitly clear. Abraham gave a tenth of the spoils of war to Melchizedek which was JESUS.
Note: Those that deal with God must remember the just shall live by Faith. Romans 1:17, Habakkuk 2:4. We must believe God to keep His Promises. If one cannot believe and trust GOD regarding Offerings how can one believe concerning Heaven, Healing, or anything else?
The Tithes are to go to the Church one attends. If they are not attending a Church it goes to the Ministry where they are being fed and nourished.
Question did Grace do away with Tithes? Absolutely Not. This is total incorrect Theology. Many scholars and Bible Colleges have begin to teach a False Doctrine of Grace. Love actually causes us to want to keep the Commandments. We will address this in our Newsletter regarding Grace. We are simply not under the hundreds of fence laws that man made. But God’s laws must be kept. Love is the fulfilling of the law. Love causes us to want to keep the laws of GOD. Remember this was GOD speaking in Malachi stating will a man rob God? Tithes were ordained by God not man.
Now Offerings:
The Difference is that Tithes is 10 percent that actually “belongs to God”. This is why God Himself is calling it “Robbery”. You rob GOD when you take GOD’S Tithes that is not actually yours. The Offerings God leaves to the individual.
Acts 20:35 “Remember the words of the Lord JESUS, how He said, IT IS MORE BLESSED TO GIVE THAN TO RECEIVE. This is very important to remember. For GOD so loved the world He GAVE His ONLY BEGOTTEN SON. John 3:16
But remember “For where your Treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Matthew 6:21, Luke 12:34. One simply spends money on what they love, but how much do we really love God? Our Giving tells the story for us very clearly.
Remember the story of the Rich young ruler is found in Matthew 19:16-30, Mark 10:17-31, Luke 18:18-30. He thought he loved God and said he had kept the commandments from his youth up. Luke 18:22 “ Jesus stated Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow Me. Here the young man would turn his back on God and walk away very sorrowful. He did not understand that he would have ended up with actually so much more than what he possessed. Jesus stated how hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! 25th verse says For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. We know that with God all things are possible. Mark 10:27
Luke 12:15-21 And He said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth. Note the Parable of the Rich man where he tore down his barns and build greater. Once he got the crops in and decided to say he had finally made it and had food stored up for many years I will eat, drink and be merry. Good said THOU FOOL this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? Verse 21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich towards God. We should be concerned about Souls, Souls, and more Souls. Which are the most Precious jewels of creation.
Mark 10:28 Then Peter said unto Him, Lo, we have left all, to follow thee. Verse 29 And Jesus answers and said Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands for my sake and the gospel’s.
Assures him that no man that had left house, or brethren, or children, or lands, for My sake, and the Gospel’s, Verse 30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life. Galatians 5:6 Faith worketh by LOVE ❤️ so a lack of Love for God hinders our giving. Many times our Faith to give is destroyed due to lack of LOVE 💕. As Faith worketh by Love. When we have a problem giving it is a Love problem as Faith worketh by Love. The great news is Love is a fruit of the Spirit and a fruit can grow. Smile 😃.
We must understand God ways are paradox! Isaiah 55:8,9 For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith the Lord. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the Earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, My thoughts than your thoughts.
Matthew 10:10 “” for the workman is worthy of his meat. Luke 10:7 “”for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Deuteronomy 25:4, 1Timothy 5:18 For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward. Deuteronomy here is speaking of the Oxen while it’s threshing out the grain. Let the ox 🐂 eat. JESUS refers to this scripture but applies it to His Disciples as He is sending them out to preach the Gospel. 1 Corinthians 9:9-14 The Apostle Paul teaches 11th verse if we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things. Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the Gospel should live of the gospel.
We must always remember 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 which states “But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully: Verse 7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart ❤️ God loves a Cheerful 😀 Giver!
Luke 6:38 GIVE and it shall be Given unto you; Good measure, Pressed down, Shaken together, and Running over, shall men give unto your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
The very first word here was “GIVE” we must reflect back and remember John 3:16. For GOD so loved the world 🌍 He GAVE! Wow God GAVE HIMSELF to be a living sacrifice for all of humanity. JESUS dying on that old rugged cross for us. God’s gift to humanity. Showing unconditional love as while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. Glory! The song says LOVE lifted me when nothing else could help Love Lifted me!
Abraham do you love ❤️ ME? Sacrifice your son Isaac to me! Give to me your son! Genesis 22:12 And he said lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou anything unto him: for I know that thou fearest God. Seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me. There would be a Ram caught in the thicket. God made a way. No God is NOT telling you to sacrifice your children! But telling everyone to give.
What we must understand GOD does not need our money 💰. We need the Blessings of God! Meaning in the wilderness GOD caused a River in the desert 🐪 🏜️ 🌵. Mana rained down from heaven as man did eat angel’s food, quails they could just reach out and grab.
Elijah at brook Cherith God commanded the Ravens 🐦⬛ 🐦⬛ to Feed Elijah! Bread🥖 🍞 and flesh 🥩 🥩 Morning and evening. The Widow woman in ZAREPHATH 1 Kings 17:9-17 Getting ready to eat her last meal and die. Elijah tells her to make him a cake first. But this was her Last! Her and her son would eat it and die! She GAVE and God caused the meal barrel to not wasted, and the oil cruise to not fail until there was rain in the land. Glory!!
It’s Paradox as we Give God blessed. Luke 6:38 “GIVE” and it shall be Given unto you; Good measure, Pressed down, and Shaken together, and Running over, shall men GIVE unto your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. Proverbs 11:25 The Liberal soul shall be made Fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.
So many things are more Precious than Money. I remember the Plane plummeting out of the sky towards the ground! My Wife, Daughter, and Granddaughter was on the plane ✈️! My Wife began to call on JESUS and pray as the people were screaming. The Tornados 🌪️ passing through had caused this but before the plane crashed JESUS caused it to start lifting back up, it started to crash again and the people were screaming thinking their life was over! My Wife started screaming JESUS JESUS JESUS! The plane started lifting again before it crash to the earth 🌍. The plane had to go to another State until the Tornadoes 🌪️ finish passing through. We have seen so many miracles of people that were dying and JESUS turned things around. Two baby boys we were praying for as their mothers were having complications but we prayed and JESUS brought both of them through. They are both starting to walk now. So many things are more valuable than money.
God does not need our money we need the blessings that comes from GIVING. Remember the Words of the LORD JESUS how HE said it is more Blessed to Give than to Receive. Be a Blessing Be a Giver as GOD will reward You,
